Terry Derosier & Ethan Elseth are based in Stillwater, Minnesota and are published singer/songwriters and music producers. Derosier, an entrepreneur, has an extensive background in radio and television work, including the popular jingle arrangement for Window World Twin Cities. Terry has a fascinating back story of a tragic brain injury and an incredible recovery through music. Derosier holds a BA degree in Music from the University of North Dakota. Ethan Elseth is an exceptional guitar player, composer, arranger and holds two BA degrees. One in Guitar Performance and one in Music Composition from McNally Smith College of Music plus a Masters in Music - Screen Scoring, from the University of Southern California. He is a featured guest clinician at Interlochen Arts Academy and a private guitar instructor and studio musician. Both have toured internationally and are performing their new show Cowboy Singers and Guitar Pickers in the five state region

Cowboy Singers & Guitar Pickers have built a discography that speaks to the enduring soul of American country music. Derosier released five singles in 2018 while working with LA/Nashville songwriter, Jeff Harrington. Derosier and Elseth met at McNally Smith and started creating music together. Both have demonstrated prolific creative output even when Elseth was out in LA gaining his Master in Music. Their most recent 2026 releases include some of their latest writing. Their catalog, which includes titles like Thunderin' Down The Road, Restless Dreamer, and recently Clover Hill & You Gotta Trust, reflects a deep commitment to storytelling traditions that defined the golden era of country music.

Their ability to connect with real audiences in meaningful settings was demonstrated during a week-long performance tour through the Northwest Regional Library System. Their live country music and storytelling drew standing-room-only crowds in Thief River Falls and Red Lake Falls. The Northwest Minnesota tour gained large audiences who showed up specifically to celebrate the roots of country music alongside a duo that clearly knows how to deliver it with authority and warmth.
